Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply when you visit v2rayformac.com, read its guides, or use links on the site to obtain clients. Please review the terms below before using any materials. If you do not agree, stop using the relevant materials and links. These terms do not replace the software’s own license agreements or limit any rights you have under applicable law.

1. Purpose of the Materials and Scope of Services

This site curates download links, installation steps, and setup guides for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG. The materials are for educational reference and lawful research into networking technology only. This site is not the official website of any of these open-source projects. It does not provide proxy nodes, subscription accounts, or internet access services, and is not involved in transactions between users and subscription providers.

Guides are written for commonly used system environments. Client interfaces, system permissions, and configuration fields may change with updates, so check the software’s current prompts as you follow the instructions. Example settings explain how features work; they are not a guarantee of compatibility with any particular network, device, or business environment.

2. Lawful Use and User Responsibilities

You must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you are located and to your use, as well as the requirements of your organization, network operator, and service provider. Do not use this site’s materials or related software for unlawful purposes, including unauthorized system access, data theft, cyberattacks, distributing illegal content, or violating others’ rights.

You are responsible for confirming that you have permission to use your device and network, and for carefully assessing the source of any imported subscription, nodes, and configuration. Subscription links and configuration files may contain access credentials; do not share them publicly. Before enabling the system proxy or TUN, or changing DNS settings, understand the potential effects, save your existing settings, and back up important configurations and data.

3. Software Sources and Limitation of Liability

The software is provided by its respective open-source projects. Each project determines its own maintenance, features, and release schedule. This site curates information and provides download links, but does not control project releases, third-party servers, or users’ network environments. It does not guarantee that software will remain available, documentation will always be current, or download services will be uninterrupted.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for connection interruptions, configuration issues, data loss, or other losses arising from the use or inability to use the relevant materials, software, or third-party services. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If something goes wrong, stop the relevant operation, restore your previous settings, and investigate using your logs and system status.

Third-party pages and services are governed by their own terms. A link or reference in a guide does not mean this site endorses or guarantees a third party’s business practices, service quality, or specific uses.

4. Intellectual Property and Open-Source Licenses

The names, marks, and software of v2rayN, v2rayNG, v2flyNG, Project V, V2Fly, Xray, and others belong to their respective rights holders. Use, copying, modification, and redistribution of software must comply with the licenses of the relevant projects and included components. These terms do not grant rights beyond those licenses.

Original explanatory text and page layouts on this site are protected by applicable law. When quoting them, credit the source. Do not remove or alter key limitations in a way that could mislead readers, or use this site’s name to imply official authorization or partnership. Third-party materials remain subject to their original license terms.

5. Changes to These Terms and Feedback

These terms may be revised to reflect changes to site content, software, or legal requirements. Revisions will be posted on this page, and the month shown at the top will be updated. Unless stated otherwise, changes apply to use from the date of publication and do not retroactively alter rights or obligations already established by law. Check the current terms before continuing to use the site.

For installation, subscription import, or connection issues, first check the configuration FAQs in the Quick Start Guide and Cross-Platform Guide. When describing a problem, include your operating system, the steps you took, and redacted error details. Do not share subscription links, passwords, or complete private configurations.
